Hello, and thankyou for your time. Im unfortunetly in a shitty situmonitation. Just built a desktop all by myself.

Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 mobo
Rx480 4gb GPU
2x4GB corsair vengeance ram.
Fx6300 AMD processor
120gb ssd
1tb harddrive
650W thermaltake PSU

Hooked up my monitor to the GPU i get a no signal message on my monitor. Everything lights up pretty inclu the gpu and mobo. Connection is done through a solid DVI connection with no adapter.

And yes when i installed these components i grounded myself.

What ive done so far -
Triple checked including removing and reenstalling gpu ram and checking all connectors making sure they sit flush
Tried to sit the gpu in both PCIEX16 slots. And i did my math to make sure everything i have is enough for the PSU to supply whats needed.

Please help me

The MOBO doesnt have a video in connector (DVI VGA) BUT im happy to say after 2-3 hours of non stop reading through forums and manuals i have found the solution. On my mother board there is a connector im assuming is for the BIOS i just had to relocate it to the other pin and place it back where it was . after 5 seconds i connected everything up and everything now works...
Try connecting the monitor to the onboard graphics if you have one. If that works, go into the BIOS setings and tell it to use the add-on GPU in future.

I've deleted your duplicate post so you'll get a message saying you did something bad. Ignore that - it's the message that's bad but spreading the problem over two sub-Forums was a good idea.
