I'm halfway through my first PC build and I've kind of backtracked on what GPU to go with.
I was thinking of the RX 480 8GB because I'd be set on vram and stable fps but Ive been pondering whether a different card is better suited.

The CPU I'm going with will probably be a FX 8350 since most games aren't CPU demanding these and the main purpose of my PC build is heavily modding, Skyrim, Fallout NV and Fallout 4 and possibly others while maintaining 60fps+.

My budget is £250 but I can go higher if needed. I'm happy for any advice on my CPU choice as well.

If anyone has any ideas where I can get the best 2nd hand parts or cheaper prices it is much appreciated

Thanks is advance.

those games you want to play are cpu demanding, you really should not be making a new build on an amd based platform

before you throw your money away, i suggest you make a post with yout budget and ask for help

I can spent £250 on a graphics card but I can higher if needed and my budget is £1000.

So if my CPU is basically crap, what CPU do you suggest, I had a look at the i5 core and saw some benchmarks but it only outperforms the FX by 10 -20 fps and the price tag is £70 pound more. Would it be a wise investment?

an i5 based system is the best use of your money

do you need keyboard/mouse/monitor/windows?

How long would the 1tb HDD roughly last if you had 4 games with 2000+ mods
