I recently bought [this] Wifi and Bluetooth adapter. The Bluetooth works fine, the Wifi adapter doesn't even appear in Device Manager (not in Networking Adapters, nor Other Devices). I've tried switching PCIE slots, installing drivers from various places, and restarting everything. Is there any reason, besides the unit being defective, why this thing shouldn't work?
PS: On the Amazon page, someone mentioned that you need one of [these cards] for the adapter to work. Is that just for motherboards that don't come with WiFi capability?
