My Pc specs are:
Intel core 2 duo E4600 2,4 ghz
2 gb ram ddr3
Nvidia Quadro NVS 290 (256 mb and ddr2)
Windows 7 ultimate x86 aka 32 bits i think
Hard is 300 GB...Rarely i can delete something.
I love to have lots of games in my pc to play them like fifa, nfs, far cry, tomb raider and many, many others.

I want to buy an graphic card Nvidia GT 730 Gddr5 and 2 GB
A Ram memory of 4 GB
An usb 3.0 hdd 1tb for 52# or 2 tb at 100$ with 5 gb/s reading speed.

What i want to know, can i replace them and work properly or i don't even have to bother to buy them.
as for an decent i3 or i5 quad with hd 1k+ that will happen around 2020 :D
From here on, my fantasy:
Once i find a job i will get my parrents to buy me a laptop of 300-400$ so i can play at least Terra, Just cause 2+, Cod MW2+, Battlefield Bad company 2 +(and others ahead), Xenoverse (I wish) and some other games until 2014.
With some luck i will buy a pc of 600$ once i deposit 30$ monthly for a year or get a weak pc and buy parts of 300-350$ and even bf1 can run at ultra settings.

Solution
You could have them all: A new $40 120GB sata ssd w/ a fresh installed Win7-64/Win10-64, a new regular internal sata hdd 1tb and your old HD.
Your motherboard could handle at least 4 sata storage units.
My opinion? If you get the Win7-64 buy a 2x4GB RAM kit for a total of 8GB RAM and keep out the old 2GB RAM stick.
But yes if you go Win7-64 and buy another 4GB stick your system will have 6GB RAM total (2GB old + 4GB new).
Sometimes this mix wont work well (old ram + new ram).
Install games in a usb hd? This is not usual at all.
With this rig you go Steam: You can only play old games. They are almost free @Steam.
After your upgrade the Windows 7 ultimate x86 aka 32 bits will see only 3GB RAM anyway.
The E4600 will run fine w/ the GT730 Gddr5 no problem here.
You will be able to play far cry (I). :D
imho you should buy a regular internal sata hdd 1tb though.
A $40 120GB sata ssd would give new life for your Windows 7 operation.

It is possible to install the windos 7 with the 64 bits once i do my upgrade, so he can see all my 5 gb ram ?
and i'm not clear about something that i forgot to mention: with the usb external hdd, can i install on it games and play them the same way i play them from D Driver or it will work slower ?
I have lots of things on this hdd and don't want to buy another games since my old dvd collection is a little scratched and i doubt some can install well :D

Thx a lot filippi.
Idk if i have 2x1 GB or 1 2 GB stick, i will ask my friend that upgraded it in 2014 cuz at that time i had an ati x1550 512 mb and 1 GB ram + SP3.
The windows 7 that i bought can be installed on both ways (32 and 64 bits).
Idk about the hard drive if i can add another internal one there, i'll ask that guy (pc experts+IT license) and if possible, i will buy one around next summer.
If not, i will struggle with 15-20 games on pc and the others on that external hdd with 25 gb/s transfer rate.
I made some calculations and i think that by Christmas i can buy that videocard and 4 GB ram=100$ both.
Next year i will buy myself another pc with 4 gb ram and i3 or i5 and the rest is to get another graphic card and 2x 8GB, i think around 300$ + pc 200$ or so.
I'll try for a PS3 meanwhile, if i can get it on Christmas.
Thanx again, see you ;)
