i have an intel core 2 duo e8500, 4gb ram ddr2 and an nvidia gforce 8400 GS, i dont care if i need to run it with low settings, i just wanna know if i can play it at least

What resolution? If you're playing at like 640x480 then maybe on lowest possible settings. That CPU is strong enough but the 8400 GS will only play BF4 at a very low resolution.
