Hi, I've just bought a new monitor and I'm thinking about grabbing a 2nd GPU but I can''t find out which one I'm currently using and it's driving me insane.

Now I'm not some lazy scrub looking for an easy answer, I assure you I've looked and checked everything first and still can't pinpoint my card, thus I come seeking help from wiser folk. I'll provide every bit of information I can and hopefully one of you fine people can assist.

Now first off I can tell you it's a Radeon R9 200 series. I've pinpointed it down to 1 of these 4 cards.(see below) I physically checked the card and all it says on it is this plus a part number.

P/N 102C6711100 000001

Go under userbenchmark.com and run through its benchmarking steps and see if it can identify your graphics card and if it doesn't you can tell what kind of performance the card has and relate it to other cards on the site

Hi,

It got 84% which was really good, but still doesn't explain which 290 I have. Am I safe to assume that all things considered my card must be a 290 core edition. If it was the 290x it would say so in dxdiag and through Radeon hardware overview?

UserBenchmarks: Game 68%, Desk 52%, Work 38%
CPU: AMD FX-6350 Six-Core - 52.4%
GPU: AMD R9 290 - 84%
SSD: AMD 2+0 Stripe/RAID0 478GB - 65.2%
HDD: Toshiba DT01ACA200 2TB - 67.9%
USB: USB Flash Disk 2GB - 3%
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP DDR3 2x8GB - 44.4%
MBD: Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3

I opened the pc first before I did anything and all it says is AMD Radeon R9 290.

Maybe core edition doesn't say "Core Edition" and is simply what is above. I assume if it was 290x it would say so on the card?
