Since doing a windows 10 update a couple days ago my disk usage on task manager has been sky high, i have tried all the fixes i can find and i have defragged and factory restored but nothing is working, cpu usage and memory are around 20% just on google chrome now too, but they keep going up and down, right now my disk is on 0/1% which is the lowest its gone all day but as soon as i launch a game or do anything its going to go straight back to 100

Ok, I'm not sure how Win 10 does it, but in 7 if you go to Task Manager, Performance Tab, there's a button for "Resource Monitor." If you open that, then navigate to the "Disk" tab, it lists "Processes with Disk Activity" and the section below that has "Disk Activity." Disk Activity will show file by file everything accessing the disk, and how much is being transferred.

As far as Msmpeng and mbam, the first looks like Windows Defender and the second Malwarebytes. Both are antivirus and usually play nice with each other but they could have a conflict. They may also be running scans at startup, or when installers run.
