New SSD maybe, that one is very small.
The rest depends on the budget and needs
Hi, The SSD is small as it only needs to hold Windows, I keep my files on the HDD 1TB. I have £600 to play with to get a CPU, Motherboard, Cooler, RAM and possibly anything else that lacks.
I'm not sure why that Intel SSD cost so much, but it's size is extremely small. There isn't any reason to only have Windows on the drive. That only really matters on boot up. After that, doesn't make much of a difference. Unless you are restarting your Pc multiple times a day, it's really a non-factor.
Well you could throw a 6700k in there if you wanted to, but you could save the money.
You should consider a larger SSD, or possibly an NVME SSD. Though you just have windows on it, it is nice to be able to have programs and a few select games on it as well.
The main advantage I see (By looking around) From the Z170-A to the Pro Gaming is the 2 extra USB3 (Useless to me but it's nice to have) And it's "Enhanced for gaming". Will this "enhanced for gaming" thing actually improve performance at all or it it just a gimmick? If it's useless then I'll probably go Z170-A.
You do not need a CPU, spend all the money on a 1080.
Your PSU is good, 9.6 on JohnnyGuru.
@Swordkd That is definitely not what he asked for, you just changed a few parts of his current build. And it is not worth changing his parts for practically the same ones.

I considered the 6700k but the 6600k is cheaper so I can save for better peripherals etc and 0.5GHz isn't much of a loss, considering overclocking could hit the 6700k's base clock if I wanted that 4GHz.

The Pro Gaming was cheaper, so that's what I went with. Both are Sli capable and have an M2 slot. I did swap out ram for slightly cheaper and faster ram, still have a cas of 15 though.

EDIT: My mistake, I didn't read carefully.
Hi there, it might sound odd, but I just got the current GPU and I don't feel like swapping that until I'm done getting rid of my current i7 930/X58A setup for a skylake.

Ahh cool, might be slightly off topic but if I were to go 4K, would Crossfire (Or SLI) Be good with my current GPU to work with 4K?
I would say change the power supply for something like a EVGA Supernova G2 850W or even 750W
EDIT: Oh, and change that SSD for a Samsung 850 Evo/Pro or a Intel 750
Thanks, but my PSU seems to be doing the job very well (I may be wrong but I'm backed up by someone further up the thread) But I'll look at those SSD's, thanks a lot.
