I performed a system restore on a workstation and the network adapter is no longer listed in Device Manager. It's as if it doesn't exsist even tho it's built in to the motherboard.
This is also the case with a fresh install of windows 7.
There is no place to install a driver for the nic since the system doesn't think that any is attached.
If you go to view and show hidden items in DM you can see the tab for network adapters but there are no devices there that require updates to their drivers.
There are no network connections listed under Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections
The MB is Supermicro X9DAi.
