What can I do to make my computer compress large video files faster? They are recorded at a video bitrate of 22546 kbps for a total of about 4GB per file.

Does overclocking help? I am currently oc'd to 4.1ghz using an i3-6100.

I am using Free Video Compressor. I am trying to compress them down to a smaller size. I don't care how small, just however i can reduce the size as much as possible for uploading to YouTube, without reducing quality too much or at all.

Currently, I've been compressing them down to 10% of their original size and it takes about a 15 - 30 minutes to do it. They don't appear to lose any quality.

The video files I am working with are files that I've recorded using my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950, using GeForce Experience to record directly from the video card, as well as FRAPS.

Thanks.

Also what application are you using to compress the video ? Also what are you compressing the file too , i.e I'm assuming the "RAW" file is 4GB and your trying to make it smaller ? Also what are you compressing fast motion video, "slow" motion or mixed ?
