After installing some new Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8) 2400MHZ DDR3 sticks, games frequently crash. When the crashes occur, generally, the game will close, and a windows will appear saying that the program has stopped working and windows is trying to solve the problem. The Witcher 3 however simply closes without any pop up following it. These crashes have been occuring whilst using XMP profile #1 (which overclocks it to 2448MHZ - over the cap, could this be an issue?), however games also crash when manually setting the RAM to run at 2400MHZ. Before this new RAM install I had 8GB (2x4) HyperX Fury 1866MHZ DDR3 memory, and the system was perfectly stable.
System Specificatons:
Asus Z97-P motherboard
i7 4790k processor (overclocked to 4.3GHZ at stock)
EVGA GTX 1070 FTW
Windows 10 Home runs off a Samsung Evo 256GB SSD
600W EVGA bronze rated PSU
And of course my 16GB (2X8) Corsair Vengeance DDR3 2400 MHZ RAM.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I know it's been a while but do you know where I can find this setting in the ASUS BIOS?
Thanks.
