yeah that should work just fine, but try to see if the motherboard manufacture has a supported RAM list, you want to get RAM on the list, as RAM off the list is generally not on there for a reason, or it is just untested.

wait yeah I have no idea what I was thinking. 4GB in each slot is fine, not 8GB in each slot. or 8GB in one slot.
