i have 2 pci-e 6 pin on my old vid card, and my new card only has a plug for 1 6 pin plug?

i am only able to plug in 1 6 pin pci-e plug, my new vid card only has 1 plug in, where do i plug the second one in? is this why i cant get my second monitor to work? my old vid card has 2 6 pin plugs.

what GPU? Some only need a single 6-pin. And no, that wouldn't have anything to do with a 2nd monitor.

Your new video card doesn't need as much power, thus there's no need for additional power connections.

The second monitor has to do with the VIDEO OUTPUTS etc, not power.
