The cpu is still a solid i5. It might get a few fps less than a brand new i5 6600k but you also paid less than half the price for it as well. You've got an i5 for less than the cost of an i3. No actual benchmarks of zen out yet so tough to say or at what price they'll be selling until they're on the market. New cpu's are always releasing every 6-12mo and a cpu like an i5 typically lasts 5yrs or so with solid performance.
