Hi everyone! i hope you all are doing fine.. :)

Alright this is just a minor problem. I am recording gameplays with Fraps, it is recording in superfine quality and its obvious that recorded video files are very large. say 10 gb 20gb depending on the length of time recorded.

So i want to upload those videos on youtube. But such large video files will require lot of time.
My question is How do i convert those videos in high quality like 1080p or 720p but with reduced file sizes, like shrinking the size of those recorded avi files into some other good quality which is low in size in comparison to the recorded ones.. :)

Solution
Try Googling: "how to use handbrake for youtube upload"

You will get loads of good tutorials.

Always a good idea to see if Google can answer your question!

Alright then i guess this is solved!! :)

Handbrake is fantastic once you get the hang of it and find the settings that give you the right balance between file size, quality and encode time.

Have fun.
