Can't Manually Overclock?

Hey guys,

I have a Gigabyte GA-Z170xp-SLI and a 6600k. Its a new build. When I got to the frequencies settings tab all of my options are locked out except for the auto OC option. I've looked at a few OC guides on this board with the same cpu but not of their options are darkened out like mine. Can't take the cpu settings off of auto.

Just curious if anyone has ran into this before. Thanks

That's because they are on auto. Put them on manual. that being said, are you sure you know what you're doing? You don;t seem knowledgeable enough to be overclocking. No offense.

Nah really I've overclocked many time. I'm trying to overclock my friends board. I found out what it was. it wasn't "put them on manual" as that kinda what I was getting at wasn't able to be changed. There was an option further down that I had to uncheck. Totally breezed passed it
