what causes MORE wear and tear of a gpu while gaming ? higher resolution(1440p) with medium settings OR 1080 or 720p with ultra setting...

A budget power supply. Really, that's the truth, resolution and yada yada won't matter, if Vsync is off it always works as hard as it possibly can. Any difference is negligible, it's just not something where real numbers can be drawn from.

processor :- Intel 3.4 Ghz LGA 1150 4690K 4th Gen
gpu :- Zotac Nvidia Geforce Gtx 970 4 GB GDDR5
motherboard :- Asus Z97-A Motherboard

do you think this psu is good...? or pls suggest a good one

Uhh no that thing is not going to be good. What country are you from? Where do you shop? You have to accept the fact that you have to increase your PSU budget if you want a system to last 6 years. Plus why are you buying all old hardware?

i live in india..and prices for any computer parts are higher by 60$.... i shop online from flipkart, amazon, snapdeal, ebay...

my budget is 1256$...pls suggest a good rig
