Can I use Intel HD Graphics and a GPU at same time?

Hello, I have one monitor and want to use HD Graphics and a AMD GPU at same time, is this possible? since I'm rendering videos for youtube, I'm told HD 4000 Quick-sync (speed) is faster than a normal graphics card , in terms of rendering video at 720p.

Yes, I do this frequently. It should be as simple as plugging a screen into your onboard graphics... or you may even be able to utilize quicksync without connecting anything to it at all.

ok so I went into BIOS and changed this setting: Primary Display: Integrated CPU , reboot (without connecting my DVI cable to motherboard) now I see two GPUs in device manager: Intel HD 4600 and my AMD GPU , both of them working without yellow warning icon. However when I go to Sony movie studio 13 , and when I press render, it gives me an error saying "Intel Quick Sync not available"

what did I wrong?

In movie studio 13 video settings: Intel HD graphics are not in the list "GPU accele video processing"
