I have a question. I've recently bought 5x 120mm fans to mount them on case. I have older mother so it has only one 3 pin connector and one 4 pin for CPU. I've also bought a some kind of reduction so i can connect those 5 fans in one 4 pin fan connector but now it is connected to that one 3 pin i have, i have no problems with it but i can't controll the RPM and that makes my pc very loud which i do not want. So, here is my question can i change it so the CPU fan will be connected to that 3 pin and running at full speed all the time and 4 pin from those 5 fans connect to CPU 4 pin connector on motherboard or is there some way to control fan speed when connected to 3 pin?

Sounds like a job for a nice fan controller. 5 case fans? Damn....says the guy with the jet engine and open case haha.
