Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good network switch.
I am looking for a managed 24-48 port switch in order to connect everything in the house using LAN Cat6.
Items being connected: Computers, TVs, Printers, TiVos, AP, Gaming Consoles, IP Cameras.
The unit will be stored in a closet which is in a guestroom/office (will have a pull out bed), so it needs to be fairly quiet.
I am not sure if the door to the closet will be a slotted door or a full door, so not sure which way to go with that either for ventilation purposes.
I am also not sure if I should go with 2x24 or just get 1x48 switch.
Please advise your thoughts as well as which one to go with for it being quiet.
I also read that there are some fanless ones, but not sure if those are any good/reliable.
