Since he is not planning to overclock, i picked i5 6500 (non K). It comes with intel stock cooler which will be sufficient in terms of cooling.
Switched DDR3 motherbard / RAM to DDR4, plus 16GB of memory (8 is on the edge these days).
Better and cheaper PSU, here is a review .
Also i listed SSD, which is a must in my opinion for better general experience.
I couldn't find any reliable info about that case, so you better check if that MSI gpu (277 x 140 x 39 mm) will fit into the case. (Anyway i'd pick something better for a gaming rig).
