The latest Origin Client (10) that you install on your computer is terrible for me and won't open up the redeem code window. It says it's temporarily unavailable because of high traffic or maintenance but the one on the website works fine. I have several games on disc that I want to install but even then the window flickers for a moment before jumping to Temporarily Unavailable.
So I was wondering if I enter my codes on the official website and then attempt to install w/ the discs will it work? I can open the Origin Client but that's about it and I don't want to redeem them if it then tries to say the code has been used. Basically I want to know if you have to redeem a disc code through the client or is it savy enough to realize the game had been verified and just go on and install it. Thanks for any help.
