PCIe x1 to PCI?

I understand, but you can't buy adapters for PCI to PCIe because there is no way to raise the card then screw into the case properly.

I found a PCI version of the card but it was $65USD.

So basically I could not find a feasible solution to use front USB3, so my suggestion is to consider mounting a front USB2 device which would connect to your onboard USB2 if it exists, or with a PCI card for USB2 front panel. So unless there are other solutions it's:

1) PCI USB3 - $65
2) front USB2 adapter (to...

That card is for adding front USB3.

Converter cards don't exist because you would have no way to mount them. The screw can't secure it to the case. (there may be some weird adapter but I doubt it).

*You should instead be looking for a PCI card that does what you need.

What do you need it for? A sound card?

Update:
If it is USB3.0 then be aware I can't seem to find an inexpensive PCI card.

Another possibility if the case only has USB3.0 is something like THIS instead:

(can only use USB2 but at least it would work)

3) front USB2 adapter + PCI USB2 card
