I am thinking to take Gigabyte B150M DS3H DDR4 with cpu i5 6500. But i am confused in mb there is another mb Gigabyte B150m D3H DDR4.

What's is the difference in Gigabyte B150m DS3H vs Gigabyte B150m D3H motherboards?? Which one is good??? Is there any better mb than this for basic use of editing and gaming.

Solution
1) D3H - added VRM heatsink (you don't overclock. not sure if it can help VRM lifespan or not)

2) D3H - slightly better audio (ALC892 vs ALC887)

3) D3H - 2xCrossfire support (I doubt you care)

So mainly it's the PCIe and PCI slots that are most beneficial. A lot of people are fine with an additional PCIe slot so chances are either board is fine.

*However, the extra x16 PCIe slot could be useful if you later buy a high-speed device like an SSD (that runs faster than a 2.5" SSD can but they are too expensive for a budget like yours)

You also have the M.2 SSD connector anyway. I'm not sure how fast it goes. It says up to "x4 PCIe bandwidth" but I'm too tired to calculate that out.

I think it's 4GBps. a normal SATA6 slot supports up to about 600MBps on paper. So you could buy a much faster SSD for that slot later.

(my point is you don't need the 2nd x16 slot necessarily)

Thank you for detailed explanation!! I am choosing Gigabyte B150M DS3H. I hope its good decision. I will use ssd.

What you suggest among both motherboards??

If it matters now, I suggest looking at the DIFFERENCES and see if they apply to you.

If the price difference is small, get the D3H for the first two reasons (audio and better VRM cooling).

I'm not sure why you ask for my suggestion right after stating you are choosing that specific motherboard though.

I have not yet taken the board this Saturday I am going to take. D3H and DS3H have slightly price difference.
