LoL Teamfight FPS Drop with Good PC

Hi guys, wondering why I have FPS Drops in League of Legends when I have a pretty good pc.

Specs:
i5-4670k non-oced
EVGA 980ti Hybrid
Hyper 212x
Acer XB271HU

Also, my FPS when not in teamfights e.g. jungling and laning doesnt exceed 200. I've tried turning off G-Sync (which to my knowledge caps fps at 144hz), even turning down settings which gives same fps. Any ideas?

My power option is high profile. Now that you mention it, I never really took note of how much it dropped to, just that it felt like 20-30 fps and everything was laggy. I'm playing a game now to find out!

Edit : Just played the game, FPS drops were actually from ~150 range to 60-70 in teamfights. Not quite the 20-30 I assumed, but it felt that way. Probably due to me being used to 144hz? Regardless, shouldn't a 980ti be able to pull higher FPS than 150?

The build looks great! Only thing I see that is wrong with it is the WIFI adapter, personaly I do not like WIFI but it will work. I just find that a wired connection is better for me (note that I drilled through the house to get a wired connection).
