at least a core 2 quad and if your monitor is 1080p a gtx 750 ti, 8gb of ram is also a good idea

MERGED QUESTION Question from Akib hoque : "Can I run gta5 on dual core E6600,4gb ram"
Akib hoque :
I have sapphire 7770 hd GHZ edition 1gb ddr5. So,can I run gta 5 on my intel® Pentium dual core E6600 , 3.06 ghz, 4 gb ram, motherboard:Asus P5G41T-M lx3.
n0ns3ns3 :
the minimum requirement is quad core like C2Q 6600.
so while game may or may not launch, it will perform poorly.
Jay Santos :
vsync set to 1/2 and at the lowest possible resolution.
I actually attempted to run it on my E7200 Core2 Duo at 3.2ghz and it struggled at 30fps.
The game really needs a quad core. You might get away with an dual core HT i3.
