If I want to add more RAM does it have to be the exact same?

Basically I'm looking to buy another 8GB for my PC to have 16GB for editing etc and the current RAM I have is fairly expensive compared to other alternatives with the same MHz (1600) I currently have two 4GB Corsair Vengeance sticks in 1600MHz and want another two 4GB sticks, do they have to be the same brand or just the same MHz and size?

It shouldn't make a difference either way, as long as the RAM sticks have the exact same speeds, it should be absolutely fine, enthusiasts make sure their RAM always matches but if price is an issue then mixing brands shouldn't be an issue at all :)
