I have read most of the threads and I still can't find an answer. So, I'm just gonna get to the point. I play CSGO, LOL and other games aswell. My ping was very low at first which was good but after a few months, my parents decided to upgrade our router to fiber optic. I was completely shocked when I saw how good it was.

But, when I went back to the games, I then saw my ping was at 200+ and more. Firstly, I am using a cable, there is nothing running in the background except for the game itself and I even tested my ping a few times. But for some reason, they are still at 200+. So, do any of you guys know how to fix this? If you do, please tell me because I just want to have fun. Thank you.

Sorry if my grammar is bad, I'm Asian :p

you got a 75ms ping (this is not really a good ping, but it's alright)
given that the speedtest server is in Ho-Chi-Minh-City but the game server won't be, it's reasonable you get to 150+ if the game servers are in Shanghai or Tokyo or somewhere

actual pingtests like suggested above would be a good way to start
What do you see with actual ping commands. If you open a cmd window and ping the game server ip. If you let it run and then launch the game does it increase in the cmd window.

In theory the ping in the CMD window should not change since the path to the server is not any different. It would only increase if you were using too much bandwidth but a game uses very little. It could also increase if you are overloading the cpu but you should see that in the resource monitor.

The number you see a game report as ping most times it not actually a ping command it is some internal delay measurement the game uses. It can be affected by the game software on both ends of the connection.

Yeah, now that I think about it. It is really not that good, sorry for saying that. I did the pingtests bill001g told me. So, you're basically saying that my speedtest server changed to another location?
