Black screen when installed a new graphics card

Hello, I've recently upgraded my 750ti to a EVGA SC 1060, When I installed the card, on bootup, I get no output what so ever.

This is my first time installed a graphics card so any help will be appricieated.

If you've got a compressed air can lying around, give the PCI slot a good blow out with the air, if it still doesn't work after that then can you try the card in a different PC?

I have, I am using a HDMI cable to connect to my monitor with a VGA to HDMI adapter, I still get the same product, when I put my old 750ti back in it works as normal.. my motherboard is GIGABYTE ga-78lmt-usb3.

Ah i see ok, have you uninstalled the old 750ti drivers? that could be the issue :)

Sorry for the late reply, and I will do that tommorow, I am going to get a DVI D Cable tommorow and hook that up, cause we tried using display port and hdmi, but me being stupid, forgot I need drivers for those things! Aha,
