my pc has been to a workshop recently since the psu died, it came back today and my ps/2 keyboard, which was working fine until today, wont work! when the pc boots with the keyboard plugged in the num lock led lights up and stays on, if i unplug the keyboard and plug it back in all lights flash and stay off. i've read that editing a certain registry value can fix this but i'd rather play it safe and not fiddle around reg values. any fixes? also my keyboard/motherboard supports hotplugging which i've found out about a few weeks prior.
p.s. please dont say stuff like "buy a usb one instead" i like ps/2 more since unlike usb its the first time it failed me in over 12 years.
