So i got a bad feeling it is the motherboard but ill list what i have tried in hopes someone smarter than me has a solution.
After i finished installing i click the power button and i get no display no post no nothing.
I have tried the following
resetting the cmos (via removing the battery)
removing the gfx card and try booting from onboard
i have removed the ram
unpugged the hard drives and any other no needed plugged in thing like usb2.0 header
tried different dvi cable
tried different monitor
have not tried changing the processor as its extreamly difficult to fit the cooler i have on it but will try this if people suspect it could be a processor problem
other than the lack of display the system appears to be turning on perfectly fine.

p8h61-i/rm/si LGA1155 mini itx
i5 3570k
2x4gb coursair vengeance ram
gtx 760
corsair cx500 power supply
