I like many others have had issues with the windows update program working properly, I've been downloading and installing the updates that were supposed to help reduce the amount of time that it takes the program to do it's job.
I was installing the "July 2016 update rollup for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1" and was stuck in the restart process, I gave it an hour for something to change and eventually just gave up and powered off the computer and tried to boot into safe mode, it went through the checks then reset and booted in normally instead then finished the update.
The update (KB3172605) is listed as installed. should I uninstall it and try again, do a system restore, or just leave it be?
