Blocking router with ethernet

I am using ptcl broadband connection i have 12 mb package and distributed with ethernet cable to my friends but one of my friend has attached a router to the internet cable and i dont want anyone to use router on my netwrok they are only allowed to use on computer with lan.. i want to block his router is there any way to block his router but i dont want to cut off his cable..

    Not with a consumer router you would need a feature called 802.1x on the lan port of your router which authenticates the machines connected.

    There is no way to tell he hooked up a router. Even if you were to limit it to his mac address on his pc almost all routers have the ability to spoof mac address. He could just key in mac of his pc and your router would not know it was a router.
