If I get a i7-6700K over a i7-6700, and if I have overclocking OFF, will it be any faster than its non-K variant?

Also is overclock on a K already turned off?

Overclocking does not happen automatically. Overclocking is something that the user does IF they want to and have the necessary cooling, cpu, and motherboard.

Yes the 6700k is a little bit faster than the regular 6700 when both are at stock speeds.

If you have not interest in overclocking, the 6700 is MUCH cheaper. The 6700k does not come with a stock cooler, but the regular 6700 does.

OMGeihhhhh not the stock cooler not the stock cooler!!

The longer I take the more my build is becoming precisely crafted for the better. Not, that, I can't get a stock cooler...oh wait I'll never know what to get for the chip, only Intel knows the stable temp. need. Poof.

Bye bye, i7-6700K. You'll be missed.

Wait..................what about the other Ks?....

No stock cooler?
