Hello, my system specs-
Core 2 duo e7400 @ 2.8ghz
8gb ddr3

I have 2 choices gigabyte gt 730 1gb ddr5 or Sapphire amd radeon 7750 HD both of them costing me around same but 7750 HD bottleneck my CPU but how much I want to know ?
And how much I should over clock my CPU to reduce the bottlenecking and I have a monitor of 1366x766 which gpu combined with my processor will give me more performance at that resolution?
Games I want to play
Cod advanced warfare
GTA 5
Assassin's Creed unity and syndicate
Fallout 4 etc..

Core 2 duo e7400 can typically be overclocked from 2.8 up to 3.9 GHZ on air, 4.2GHz on water.
Gain is not proportional so you won't get 40%/50% increase but something like 30/40%.

If your RAM is at 1066 you can gain about 5% with a RAM going up to 2133 (but I'm unsure your can set such a frequency). Having more than 8GB wont bring any improvements for the kind of games your HW can play.

If you have a HDD you can gain also around 5% by replacing it with a SSD, not necessarily in a repetitive benchmark but when when running a sequence for the first time.

Last but not least if your CPU is really at the limit you can try SW tools like GameBooster which deactivates all non vital background tasks when you are playing (on my old OC FX-60...
Either GPU will get bottlenecked with your CPU so I'd say go with the HD 7750 anyways.

OC as much as u can, my old HD4850 got bottlenecked with a Q6600 @3.4Ghz.

On that old system I was barely able to run AC Black Flag at 40fps (1280x720), switched to my current FX-8320 with same HD4850 and was running at over 85fps easily, so I really doubt you'll be able to run the latest AC versions comfortably.

So all together you could reach maybe a 60% increase but that's really a maximum. Note that it also means you need to increase voltages. This implies :
- You have to check if you power supply can follow
- You have to deactivate power saving mode in the BIOS
- You have to increase ventilation/cooling (noise)

Wish you a good OC
