i need help.
Config:
Windows 10 Pro x64bit
OS Build: 14393.187
AMD 8350-Fx 8 core processor
Sabertooth 990Fx R.2 motherboard
AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB
ISSUE:
During display driver installation, i get a black screen and display fails to recover,
screen stays black.
I then have no choice but to force kernel power off and reboot,
it reboots successfully only on Microsoft basic display adapter.
I have tried many drivers but it seems there is some other conflict with some windows component/policy/service that is blocking the display driver .
i checked event log, the only error i am getting is
event id 7023 service control manager
The CDPUserSvc_1010a3 service terminated with the following error:
Unspecified error
Please help,
i have tried Recovery, Reset, Diagnose Repair, DDU, uninstalling driver components in Safe mode and all other basic troubleshoot steps i could find on the web. So far nothing has helped.
please provide guidance so as to identify the source of the problem and eventually find a possible fix.
i need help.
