Hi,

I have a problem. I ordered the Nvidia GT 730 2GB DDR5 through an online retailer called Snapdeal. However they sent me the Nvidia GT 730 4GB DDR3. And since I'm in India, these knuckles-draggers dont even realize their error.

What do you recommend? Should I use the 4GB DDR3 or wait for about a month to have it replaced. I should also note that I play games every now and then. I know there are really good cards out there but I cant afford them right now.

Would there be a noticeable difference between the 4GB DDR3 and 2GB DDR5? What about core clock and memory clock, and all that technical stuff.

Please help.

Thanks,
Raymond

Let's be perfectly honest here. A GeForce GT 750 is by no means a high-end card, it's really low-end budget hardware. My Radeon HD 7970s would each outperform the GT 750 even if you had three of them in 3-way SLI and the HD 7970 only has 3GB of GDDR5 RAM. There is no way on earth that a GT 750 can properly utilise 4GB of RAM regardless of what type. Get the correct one with the 2GB of GDDR5, with a card that weak, you need all the speed that you can get.

No. The problem is the bus isn't large enough on the 4GB model to fully utilize the extra 2 gigs, nor would you be able to set graphics settings that would demand more than 2GB vram and still have a playable fps.
