Solution
Yes, it should work fine as the CPU bracket and socket height dimensions are the same. Do you know the make/model of the heatsink/fan you want to use with the FM2 APU/CPU (also which specific APU/CPU)?

You need to confirm that the heatsink is capable or properly cooling the newer APU/CPU (thermal load).

HI Sir,

I will take a look for you tonight man.
I think it is a Zalman fan. Its an ORB fan.

and i have a standard FM2 X4 680k AMD cpu

So i want to use that ORB fan on it.

And also a strange thing, the motherboard , when in the bios tells me the CPU is 51 degrees and when in windows running cputemp or coretmep forget what its called , and also cpu thermometer it says 38 odd, so i dont get it.

anyways.

I have the MSI A88X G43 motherboard - really hope it is good.
It seems excellent , but im anoyed with the audio as i dont understand how to use it, and the manual is not telling much about it. the audi oalso seems very soft which is frustrating.

I usually use a separate audio card such as the sound blaster x-fi
BUt i thought since the techn ology i have is world s apart from the old 939 stuff , it should be good sound.
not sure if maybe i have junk speakers or it is my setup and maybe i need to get proper speakers?

I have the altec lansing gaming speskers 5.1 sound so i dont or would not thikn they are rubbish.
Maybe i am being silly or scared and i should just turn up the volume on the speakers?

anyways, cheers
