I'm planning on building a pc and spending as little as possible and still get what i need from the machine. i planned to get a g3258 and a gtx 750ti and 4gb ram. is it safe to buy 4gb now and buy another stick later? or a 8gb kit is the safest thing to do? ram kits are so costlier in our countries btw and i'll use this pc to play csgo most of the time.

yes, you can put more ram in as you go. you have to see what is the maximum ram your motherboard can take.

if you have a 4 slot board and you are getting 2 2gb sticks, then you can get more after but if you are doing 4 1gb sticks with a 4 slot board, then you will have to sell that ram and get the 8gb. If you are doing 1 4gb stick, that will work as well.

If you are worried about RAM compatability use pcpartpicker to check, but yeah getting more RAM will be fine. I reccomend getting a 2x8 kit for 16GB so you wont have to worry for awhile.
