What should be my next upgrade?

I have recently upgraded my RAM from 8GB to 16GB, and this past Christmas I went from a FX 4350 to a FX 8350. My current system specs are:

CPU: AMD FX 8350
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon 7850 2GB Windforce
Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FX UD3 rev 3.0
PSU: Seasonic 750w Gold
RAM: Ripjawz 16GB 1600mhz(i think)

My question is, right now I have a monitor in mind. I want to get a BenQ 1080p 144hz monitor that I will be playing a few select games on (specifically CS:GO). What should I upgrade next is my actual question. i am pretty sure that I should look into a new GPU, but I was wondering if that was necessary or not as I will be running a dual monitor setup even when I am currently getting 250 FPS.

UPDATE: I will be running an ASUS VG24
8QE monitor at 144hz.

If it's a significant graphics boost that he wants - then surely upgrading the GPU is the most efficient way of doing that for now right?

Buying an intel CPU has the added cost of buying a compatibale motherboard for him because he is using an AMD platform.

Definitely. I really am not looking for a new CPU because mine does everything I need it to (And REALLY quickly, at that). I think my biggest question was do I need to look into a new GPU and or PSU and what GPU should I be looking into?.\

Your PSU is fine mate - 750W is more than enough. GPU is the main upgrade path here. As for which graphics card - what is your budget?

I'd honestly like to stick around $300. I think that would suffice in this case, but if I need to stretch it a little, then I can probably make it work. I'm not going to be upgrading for another 2 or 3 months anyways.

A GTX 1060 of any model above EVGA SC Gaming will be great for your needs. If you really can stretch, a GTX 1070 will be good.

Sounds great. I'll be looking into a GTX 1060 or maybe a 1070. Both of you were very helpful.
