Same chip, same model, only oems are different. I would go with gigabyte since i buy their products for years and i have never actually tried palit. If you put them side to side their specs are the same, except gigabyte having their rgb light and higher base and boost clock. The gigabyte one would have a performance edge, although only by a little. Also gigabyte gpus produce a mediocre amount of sound

Palit has the better clock speeds when these 2 are considered? Does it make plait the best choice?

I checked the gtx 1070 but in my country the price defference is bigger than 100$ :( So no luck there.

out of the box clock speeds mean little when boost 3.0 takes over. basically it will oc the card as far as it can so long as it has power and thermal room to work with. this is why every card is roughly the same performance. no matter what it is clocked at out of the box, it will boost higher. every card hits the same boost speeds which is higher than what it is clocked at from the oem.

nvidia just did such a good job with boost 3.0 that every card hits the max the gpu can :) the palit card got an extra 1-2 fps over the g1 in the reviews i saw. it did so very cool and quietly. plus it only needs a 6-pin power connection vs the 8-pin for the g1. honestly both cards are top quality and worth the buy.

I am nervous about picking Palit. Is it a reputable and a reliable brand? For example using bad quality components? I am sorry for questioning I am new to all this.

I've been mistaken, checked the non jetstream version. Clock speeds are exactly the same, but the gigabyte one has an option for a non-oc mode to run a bit slower (and cooler). Still, the palit has normal light, while the gigabyte one has customisable rgb. I would go for the gigabye since i like "fancy" stuff

palit is a solid company. they tend to be on the cheaper price range but i have not seen anything that suggests they are not quality products. if they were, i would have read the poor reviews over the years and seen the problems talked about all over the place. i read WWWAAAAAYYYY too much tech news and i'd have seen any negative press for them if it existed :)
