out of the box clock speeds mean little when boost 3.0 takes over. basically it will oc the card as far as it can so long as it has power and thermal room to work with. this is why every card is roughly the same performance. no matter what it is clocked at out of the box, it will boost higher. every card hits the same boost speeds which is higher than what it is clocked at from the oem.
nvidia just did such a good job with boost 3.0 that every card hits the max the gpu can
the palit card got an extra 1-2 fps over the g1 in the reviews i saw. it did so very cool and quietly. plus it only needs a 6-pin power connection vs the 8-pin for the g1. honestly both cards are top quality and worth the buy.
