Computer Starts, but won't Display anything

Solution
Hello!

Out of interest, where are you plugging in your display cable?

Because you have a dedicated video card it's important that you plug your display cable into the graphics card and not the motherboard.

If you plug the display cable into the motherboard then nothing will show on the screen.

If that does not help then unplug the little battery that is in your PC to reset the CMOS, that fixes problems relating to displays most of the time :)

Alright that's fine then :)

The little battery is like a silver circle that is directly to the left of the big MSI gaming logo, its like a watch battery :)

Give another display cable a go, I remember I had this issue with my second pre-built gaming PC and i think I sorted it by resetting the CMOS (which you already did) and using a different display cable.

Can you get into the BIOS at all? If you can, try to disable the dedicated card and use the integrated one instead only for the meantime so that we can see if the PC actually gets into windows, if it does then its definitely the GPU but if you still can't get into Windows its a different problem.

I gave another display cord a try, still no luck. When I plug it into my monitors the monitor says "No Signal". Cant see anything at all.

Alright here is what I suggest, let's see if it's the GPU or the motherboard causing the issue. Unplug the graphics card and take it out of your machine completely and plug your display cable into the motherboard's VGA slot and see if you get a display.

If you still do not get a display then I would say it is a hardware fault and if you can, RMA the motherboard. Giving the monitor another go with another device connected in the same way you are connecting your PC to it to see if it is not the monitor wouldn't hurt though.

Worst case scenario, it'll be a motherboard fault but hopefully you still have warranty on the device.

The motherboard does not have on board graphics, so no vga or hdmi spot to plug into.
On here: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/RcXKXH it says at the compatibility notes that it might need a bios update could i try that?
