From the case Product Description: The Game Max Nero, although compact, allows the user to add GPU cards or up to 300mm in length, and CPU coolers up to 145mm high.
And the gtx950 is 10.63" ( about 270mm) length, so you are fine.

my cable management is more like the first picture anyway, but I shall see if I can make it better. I am also looking into installing a water cooling for the CPU as that's what is my main concern. If you have any suggestions as to what I could do/ pay someone to do they would be greatly appreciated although my main question/s have been answered. Many thanks.

I've had another look at the diagram and my case doesn't have any outtake fans on the top. Would it be possible to have them installed?

Because the rear fan is only 80mm, you are better to add one on the top. If the cable management is like the 1st picture, you are do the great job, you don't need to pay someone do it for you.
If you will add the AIO water cooler, may check out the info for the cooling. http://rog.asus.com/5322012/overclocking/positive-or-negative-pressure-cooling/
