Need Replacement For ASUS P8Z68-VLX w 3 PCI slots

Hi,

I have a digital audio workstation which is having intermittent freezes--I think because there is a damaged trace on the mobo.

The machine uses a 2600k processor, 3 older PCI cards and 5 SATA drives and an NVIDIA dual head video card. Nothing special... but it NEEDS those 3 PCI slots!

So... I need a recommendation on a mobo which can use all these parts. I've tried finding an exact replacement on-line, but so far no luck.

any z68 motherboard would work. or you could go for a z75/z77 motherboard. they both have the same socket and work just fine with sandy bridge cpus. honestly any LGA 1155 motherboard will work

edit - the problem is that LGA 1155 motherboards arent being made any longer so you could have a relatively tricky time finding something. keep looking though, theyre out there.

All those boards are no longer made so your looking at buying used.

Thanks. I saw several similar ads on eBay. One guy was blocked from selling. Others are shipping from China with crazy shipping costs. Slightly scary. I was -hoping- there was an item I could get for a fairly low price that shipped from USA and could be returned if there was a problem.

Hoping there is a less risky solution.
