I replaced my laptop’s 500GB HDD with a 120 GB SSD, and replaced the CD drive with the 500GB HDD using a caddy. I don't see any significant improvement in battery life after switching to SSD, so I'm guessing the HDD is still being paged when not in use. How can I prevent this? I use Ubuntu 16.04.
