I want to know if my corsair cx750m will be able to handle 2 rx480 nitros and an amd fx 9590 cpu?

can anyone help me out? don't really trust power supply calculators, some say it will be around 600 watts whereas others say 800 watts...

Ok great board, pairs well with the 8350. Definitely use that over a 9590 you will be much happier.

And with that processor and pair of RX 480's I would agree with Invalid Error it should be more than enough power - the CX750M.

750 is cutting it a bit close, if only because the RX 480's are relatively low power, but each can still manage to draw 170 watts, then on top of that the 9590 can peak at 300 watts, it can touch 700 at a real peak. I would go 850 to be sure.

Do you own these components yet?

Read closer, I'm talking about the whole system.

DO NOT buy the 9590 then.

You should look into building yourself an i5 based system, the 9590 is the worst processor AMD has ever released. The i5-6500 blows it away in any sort of game, and basically anything else while using less than half the power and a cheaper motherboard and cooling.

A single RX480 peaks in the low 200Ws, a pair of them are unlikely to peak at the same time so their combined peaks will be closer to 400W. That leaves 350W for everything else including exceptional peaks if the GPUs happen to hit their absolute peak at the same time.

750W should be plenty - I doubt that the whole PC will exceed 600W measured at the wall (that would include PSU losses) under load.
