Hi there! I want to OC my system to a standard or recommended speed. The only components that I want to Overclock is the Processor and the Graphics card. I will also use Water cooling system with two radiators 360mm and 240mm with custom loop. I dont know what is a good speed for the Graphics card and also for the processor. So what are the main thing to consider and the risks? also what makes it better or OC? I will leave my Specs down below:

CPU: Intel Core i7-6900K 3.2GHz 8-Core Processor
Motherboard: MSI X99A GAMING PRO CARBON ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4-3333 Memory
Storage: Samsung 850 Pro Series 512GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Storage: Samsung 850 Pro Series 512GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Video Card: NVIDIA Titan X (Pascal) 12GB Video Card (2-Way SLI)
Case: Fractal Design Define S w/Window ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair 1000W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro Full 32/64-bit
Monitor: Acer Predator X34 34.0" 100Hz Monitor
11 USB's

i dont have that cpu or gpu though i do have full custom watercooling

my cpu with normal 100% load from doing stuff---not from prime95 or anything i dont see the need of torture testing which is way beyond what you do in every day use--it maxes out around 60c-65c i dont like seeing cpu over 70c though would probably be fine in the 70s if it went in the 80s i would worry

my gpu again different one from you but its heavily overclocked maxes out around 50c the gpu is probably good up to 85--90c before it would throttle so nowhere near there

I dont really need the m.2 SSD. With the Samsung 850 PRO is enough on my needs. btw this system is just for pure professional flight simulation w/ home cockpit. I dont do any kind of video editing or certain stuff like that. this is just intended for the Sim. You might be impressed now saying why do i need all those componenets for just that. Well, fligh simulator is kinda different than common gaming / video games. Once you start adding / Download files into your sim to make it realistic with high settings, you will notice that you are carrying heavy loads of addons so you need a system that can support that. the important is to achieve smooth FPS and flight while having all the loads of files and addons into your simulator.

Cool! Well, if you are just gonna get the simulator with the standard addons and upgrades, you might be getting a way cheaper system like the 6700k and a 980ti. everything depends on how much you load your sim. is like buying a cheap car and tunning it.
