Hoping for help me again.

I returned that (2x8GB) 16 RAM and purchased g.skill Ripjaws Series (2x4GB) 8GB ram (this is the same brand memory I currently have in the system 2x2GB)

2x4GB
240 - Pin DDR3 1333MHz DIMM PC# 10666 Desktop Memory
F3 - 10666CL9D - 8GBRL

When I install this RAM, I am unable to get past the motherboard screen. I have removed the battery, unplugged the computer and still no luck.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Solution
Can pull the heatsinks but that voids the warranty, could try returning and see if they have any of the NT series of value DRAM from GSkill, those still have the low density ICs

Hi - Thanks for the suggestion, but I was unsuccessful as the problem still persists ...
With the original RAM in, I went and changed the DRAM voltage to 1.60. Saved, Exited.
Restarted and went back in and confirmed it was set at 1.6, it was.
Turned off, swapped in new RAM and put it in the same slots (2 & 4)
Turned it on and the screen was stuck on the motherboard screen.
turned it off, put the old RAM back in and restarted computer.
Went back in the BIOS and it was back on AUTO (not 1.60V as previously set)

I did this twice.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Rob

It hangs on the motherboard screen.

Thanks for all of you help.
How can I tell if I the set I have is with the new hi-density memory ICs?
I matched up all of the information with the current g.skill RAM, with the new g.skill RAM.
DDR3-1333 10666

In hindsight I shouldn't have updated to Windows 10, but there is no going back.
