Hey broz!
There has been tons of topics with this issue, however I have another challenge for you here. My build is mainly for music production and exporting tracks + some light gaming. I aimed for strong MB, lots of RAM, powerful processor with dope-ass cooling(no glitches allowed while exporting tracks). PSU is 80+ Gold, quiet with 10 year warranty...

I know that I don't need the GTX 970, but I have already bought it, because it was in promo for 248e.
I would like to have silent/quiet case(not necessarily professionally silent), with 2 fans in the front(not crucial tho). Important is to fit the CPU cooler with both fans mounted. I was thinking about Nanoxia deep silence 3, or some case from be quiet or so. I'm open to all suggestions. The Ripjaws V are probably too high so I would go for Corsair LPX/Kingston Savage.

Here is the actual setup:

Thank you for taking your time and your help! :)

Solution

I'm sorry but its not only about the 3/4 cost of Noctua, but also the cooling of 212 Evo is not that good as Noctuas. I have solved it with buying Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 Rev.B (ram clearance 185mm) and therefore I can have everything I want, even Ripjaws Trident Z RAMs and I will still have some space left.

I am going to have external professional sound card so that is all right. I can't find the H2 case anywhere in The Netherlands, nor newegg.

King Dranzer, my budget is around 1100EUR, but I am a little flexible if it is worth it(like with the GTX 970).

Thanks!

Well if you're getting a good sound card, and you can find the Nanoxia case in The Netherlands, then yes, the build should all fit together.

Nanoxia allowance is 165mm. http://

Noctua NH D 15 basic height is 165mm. RAM allowance under fan is 32mm http://

Corsair LPX is about 34mm. http://

That means if I want to mount 2nd fan, it must be higher, therefore there must be few mm added to the overall height of CPU cooler and therefore it is getting over 165mm Nanoxia allowance. Am I missing something? Please I really need to make sure it is all going to fit together.

Well, you shouldn't need to mount a 2nd fan, considering how many the Nanoxia case comes with. But if the CPU Cooler and RAM clearance are both worries for you, you could always get the Cooler Master 212 Evo. It's not as tall, not as wide, so it won't cover your RAM, and it's over 3/4 the cost of the Noctua NH D 15.
