I have ixtreme m5860 motherboard with 4 DIMM slots full (4 x 2GB) but only 2 slots detected. How can I determine which slots are faulty?

HTey may not be faulty. New memory configurations can not be detected in the UEFI without a CMOS reset so try resetting the CMOS on the motherboard. Otherwise, just put one stick in one slow, and leave the rest empty. Then power up and see if it works, keep going until you find the ones where it doesnt boot.

Resetting CMOS (via software utility) had no effect. Piriform Speccy says just two slots in use (but not which two). The CMOS Setup utility is also no help, merely giving a total installed RAM. Thanks anyway for your assistance.
